Dr. Marguerite Ermeling opened Gentle Care Animal Hospital in 1986, intent on creating a full-service veterinary hospital to meet all the needs of pets. We now offer everything from preventive exams to owner education, surgery to holistic medicine, emergency care to boarding. Gentle Care is the only animal hospital in the area which treats exotic pets such as reptiles, birds and small mammals as well as cats and dogs.

Gentle Care offers routine and advanced internal medicine for all pets, including care and advice for new pets, regular preventive exams for pets and emergency care.

The hospital is equipped with an in-house laboratory and can perform orthopedic and soft tissue related surgeries of all kinds.
